*Giving Honour to Whom Honour is Due : Encomiums of Pst.Amb.Zakka L Magaji (Jp) - Senior Special Assistant To The Executive Governor of Bauchi State On Christian Religious Affairs*

We have Learn to appreciate those who have given their very best within the limits of their capacity within and For our Communities. Before Pst. Amb. Zakka L. Magaji (JP), there were several Christian representatives in government over the years,  but the office remained largely silent and ineffective in fulfilling its purpose.

Since Pst Zakka’s emergence in 2020, everything changed. His remarkable performance has become the reason for the renewed confidence and high expectations among churchgoers (not necessarily Christians) across Bauchi State. Situations that are neither constitutional nor within his governmental jurisdiction have now become, in the public eye, “Zakka’s responsibility.” This is not because they legally are, but because of his willingness to broker peace, establish dialogue, and facilitate solutions where necessary.

Whether in land disputes, welfare matters, Power & Energy, Healthcare concerns, Security issues, or community crises, Zakka has often gone far beyond his official duties as the Senior Special Assistant on Christian Religious Affairs. His open-door policy and readiness to serve have made him a symbol of reliability and hope.

Yet, posterity will always vindicate any leader who gives his best and leaves the rest to God. No leader can satisfy everyone, but every true leader must strive to do his utmost with sincerity and dedication. Leadership is never a bed of roses. It is a sacred trust, a calling that often demands more than applause and recognition. Many admire the crown but few understand the weight it carries. The ease people see from the outside is a mirage; behind every confident decision lies sleepless nights, silent battles, and unseen sacrifices.

Zakka, We say to you, never relent, never change. Not everyone will appreciate or acknowledge your impact since 2020, but the truth remains: when God elevates you to a higher office, your absence and commitment will speak louder than any words can. Only then will many realize the depth of your service.

Congratulations, sir, on the new responsibilities ahead, and congratulations for those you have already executed with excellence. To him who has been faithful in little, more shall be added. We believe in you, we trust your capacity, and we celebrate a man who does not make promises but delivers results.
