However, a closer examination of Sowore's actions reveals a more sinister motive.

At the heart of the matter is not Dr. Ahmad's detention, but rather Sowore's attempt to discredit Shamsuddeen Bala Mohammed, who is perceived as a potential threat to the opposition's political interests.
