At the National Information Technology Merit Awards yesterday in Lagos State, Haj. Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, the first lady of Bauchi State and founder of the Almuhibba Foundation, was bestowed with a fellow Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) designation.
 
Dr. A'isha established Al-Muhibbah Foundation which serve as means of an integrated life support for the general well being of the less privileged in the society, especially women, children and the youth, addressing their problems and needs.  The foundation have been implementing its activities at the grass root level using community based approach
 
Her Excellency received the award on the basis of her numerous efforts in addressing some challenges in terms of educational, socio-economic, and health challenges faced by many Nigerians, especially women and children across Bauchi, Nigeria, and West Africa at large. 

Her foundation (Al-Muhibbah) has been supporting communities through its strategic outreach activities and programs, with the intended outcome of helping the less privileged get access to good health care, acquire entrepreneurial skills, and provide school materials and uniforms. It also mobilizes individuals, groups, and communities on community development activities and sustainability.

The Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) expressed their gratitude to the Bauchi First Lady for her zeal towards establishing support platforms.
through inclusive education, basic health promotion, social inclusion, and community development programs.

Bauchi State Government Holds Education Stakeholders Meeting The Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has convened an education stakeholders meeting to deliberate on strategies aimed at improving the quality of education across the state.
