BAUCHI STATE GOVERNOR BALA SWEARS 6 NEW COMMISSIONERS AND 5 ADVISERS!#KSMF REPORTERS BAUCHI.

Six new commissioners and five Special Advisers have been sworn-in and assigned portfolio as Members of Bauchi State Executive Council.

They are Abdulkadir Ibrahim as commissioner Ministry of Works and Transport, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Alhaji Adamu Babayo Gabarin Ministry of information, Ahmed Aliyu Jalam Ministry of Water Resource, Maryam Garba Bagel Ministry of Power, Science and Technology as well as Dr. Sabi'u Audu Gwalabe Ministry of Health.

The Special Advisers include Alhaji Babayo Muhammad, Abubakar Bello Nawaila, Barr. Gashom Daniel Danna and Sabo Sunusi Khalifa.

Speaking after administering the oath of office and allegiance, Governor Bala Mohammed said the appointment followed resignation of some members of the executive council who indicated interest in various elective positions during the recent primary elections.

Bala Mohammed who charged them to be accountable and transparent in managing resource also advised them to work with permanent secretaries in their various ministries to enhance their performance

Speaking on behalf of the new appointees, the Commissioner of Works and Transport Abdulkadir Ibrahim expressed commitment to make positive contributions in formulating policies that would improve quality of life of the citizens.

Bauchi State Government Holds Education Stakeholders Meeting The Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has convened an education stakeholders meeting to deliberate on strategies aimed at improving the quality of education across the state.
