GOVERNOR BALA OF BAUCHI STATE APPROVED THE SUM OF 20B NAIRA FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RURALS ROADS ACCROS THE STATE! #KSMF REPORTERS BAUCHI.
His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, Sen. Bala Mohammed approved the sum of 20b Naira for the construction of rural roads across the state.
Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Works and transport Abdulkadir Ibrahim made this announcement while briefing journalist at Government house Bauchi, after State Executive Council meeting.
The roads that get Governor approval, are Soro to Miya in Ganjuwa LGA, Rishi, Tulu and Tama in Toro LGA, Rimin Zayan, Polchi to wandi connecting Dass and Toro LGAs respectively as well as Misau to Miya linking Misau and Ganjuwa LGAs.
While the rehabilitation road including Mararraban Liman Katagum, to Liman Katagum, Yashi to Duguri and some township road in Azare.
The Commissioner also said that the roads approved for construction cover over 200km with the aim of taking development to grassroots and give the people a sense of belonging.
The Commissioner assured that the projects which will be flag off immediately will be completed and put to use without compromising standards of construction.
Finally, the Commissioner then urge the people of the state to be continue to support the government efforts to provide effective leadership in the state assuring that more of such projects will be embark upon by the government before the end of the tenure.
